Logan removalists, based in Slacks Creek
Our team is based in Slacks Creek, in the City of Logan, about 22 kilometres south-south-east of the Brisbane CBD in a straight line. The Pacific Motorway forms most of the suburb's eastern boundary. For us, Logan isn't an outer area on a service map.
It's also a big city to cover. Logan stretches across 958 square kilometres between Brisbane and the Gold Coast, takes in 70 suburbs and had 345,098 residents at the 2021 Census. A move in Springwood has little in common with one in Greenbank or Yarrabilba, so we plan each job around the real addresses rather than the region's name.
We're a service-area business. There's no shopfront to visit: we come to you, at both ends of the move. The hourly rate is the same wherever you are in Logan, $125 to $169 an hour + GST for a moving truck and two professional movers, and travel is confirmed before you book.

Logan homes mean full houses
Logan is a city of houses. At the 2021 Census, separate houses made up 85.0 per cent of its occupied private dwellings, against 74.8 per cent across Queensland. Flats and apartments were just 2.7 per cent. The average Logan dwelling had 3.5 bedrooms, compared with 3.2 statewide.
So most Logan moves are whole-house moves: several bedrooms, living areas, a garage and usually a yard. We match the truck and crew to that volume, and we plan for the parts of the house people forget.
- Garages and sheds count. Tools, bikes, outdoor settings and the second fridge add real volume. Put them on the list when you request a quote, so the load is planned rather than discovered on the day.
- Appliances are priced openly. Where an appliance charge applies, it's $48 including GST per item, confirmed before you book.
- Beds and tables come apart. Basic dismantling and reassembly is included, and the tools travel with the truck.
- Lease dates set the pace. About 34.6 per cent of Logan homes were rented in 2021. If your lease ends on a fixed date, tell us early. A deposit secures the booking, and we ask for 48 hours' notice to change it.
If you'd rather not pack yourself, our packing service covers full or partial packing, and our house moving crews take it from there.
From Springwood to Yarrabilba
Logan grew in stages, and its suburbs show it. The city gained a large area in 2008, when parts of the former Albert and Beaudesert shires were amalgamated into it. Today it runs from established suburbs on the Brisbane border to semi-rural blocks and new estates in the south.
- The north and east. Springwood, Underwood and Daisy Hill sit along the Pacific Motorway. Shailer Park, home to the Logan Hyperdome, has hilly terrain, so mention steep driveways or a long walk to the truck when you book.
- Beenleigh. About 35 kilometres south-south-east of the Brisbane CBD, near where the Logan and Albert rivers meet, Beenleigh was established in 1866 and was once the seat of Albert Shire.
- West along the highway. Browns Plains, Park Ridge and Jimboomba follow the Mount Lindesay Highway south.
- Semi-rural Logan. Greenbank is a rural residential suburb, and Logan Village is a semi-rural town with the Logan River running through it. Long driveways, gates and sheds are common. If the truck can't reach the house, the truck-inaccessible driveway charge is $48 including GST, confirmed before you book.
- The new estates. Yarrabilba, in the south of the city, was planned in 2010 for around 50,000 people in 20,000 dwellings, and Greater Flagstone is another major growth area. New streets, building sites and builder handover dates all shape moving day.
Offices, warehouses and Logan's industrial estates
Logan isn't only homes. The Crestmead Industrial Estate, on the western side of Crestmead, has lots from 1,800 square metres to 2.6 hectares and supports light to medium industry. Next door, Berrinba has industrial parks to its north and south, with the Logan Motorway running through. In Logan Central, most commercial activity sits along the Wembley Road corridor.
Office and warehouse moves are a priority for us, and we plan them the same way wherever they are:
- Scope by area. Workstations, filing, stock, tools and equipment, listed by room or zone, so the truck and crew match the job.
- Access at both sites. Loading areas, roller doors, stairs and parking. You arrange building access and any permits, and we tell you the truck, crew and timing to request.
- Out of trading hours. After-hours, weekend and public holiday moves are available, subject to availability.
- Heavy pieces assessed. Safes, stone-topped tables and anything over 90 kg are assessed individually, at $48 including GST per heavy item.
IT disconnection, network setup and licensed trade work sit outside our service, so book those with your own providers. Our office removals and warehouse removals pages explain the full process.

Logan's motorways, and how they shape a move
Several of South East Queensland's main roads meet in Logan, which makes Slacks Creek a practical base for work across Brisbane and the Gold Coast.
- Pacific Motorway (M1). It runs through Springwood, Loganholme and Beenleigh. North, it meets the Gateway Motorway at Eight Mile Plains on the way into Brisbane. South, it carries on to the Gold Coast.
- Logan Motorway. It runs 30.3 kilometres from the Ipswich Motorway at Gailes to the Pacific Motorway at Loganholme, passing Forest Lake, Larapinta, Drewvale, Loganlea and Meadowbrook, with a Gateway Motorway connection at Drewvale. It's the direct link between Logan and Ipswich.
- Mount Lindesay Highway. Signposted as Beaudesert Road inside Brisbane, it runs south through Browns Plains, Park Ridge and Jimboomba towards the Scenic Rim.
- Mount Cotton Road. It links north-east Logan at Cornubia with Mount Cotton, Capalaba and Brisbane's south-east, a handy route for moves to and from the Redlands.
Travel is charged depot-to-depot or as a call-out fee, depending on the job and location. Additional charges may apply for outer areas. Either way, we confirm travel before you book.
Moving out of Logan, or into it
Plenty of Logan moves cross a council boundary. We handle the common ones in both directions:
- Logan and Brisbane. From a Daisy Hill family home to an inner-city apartment, or a southside house to Browns Plains. See our Brisbane removalists and Brisbane southside pages.
- Logan and the Gold Coast. Straight down the M1, either way. Our Gold Coast removalists page covers the other end.
- Logan and Ipswich. Along the Logan Motorway. See Ipswich removalists.
- Further afield. Long-distance and interstate removals are quoted on the full job.
- Storage in between. We handle storage pick-ups and deliveries. Each additional stop is $48 including GST.
Clearing out first? Our junk removal service takes unwanted furniture, mattresses, appliances, boxes and clutter. It's charged on time plus disposal by weight and type, with a minimum disposal charge of $95 including GST, and recyclables go to recycling where practical.

What a Logan move costs
Our pricing is hourly, and the numbers are published.
- $125 to $169 per hour + GST for a moving truck and two professional movers. Extra movers and larger trucks are available, priced before you book.
- No extra charge for quilted blankets, furniture pads, dollies, hand trolleys, ratchet straps and stretch wrap, with bubble wrap and dish paper on request.
- $48 incl. GST each, where they apply: appliances, items over 90 kg, stairs per flight, an extra pick-up or drop-off, an extra trip, a truck-inaccessible driveway and hoisting.
- Piano relocation: $149 including GST on top of the hourly rate, subject to an access assessment.
- Travel: depot-to-depot or a call-out fee. Parking and permit costs are passed on.
A deposit secures your date and the balance is paid on completion. When you're ready, request a quote with both addresses, a rough inventory and any access issues. Our team aims to call new enquiries back within five minutes during business hours, 8am to 6pm Monday to Saturday. The full breakdown is on our pricing page.
Before your Logan move
- Walk the garage, shed and yard, and add outdoor furniture, tools and bikes to your inventory.
- Tell us if the truck can't reach the house, such as a long rural driveway, a locked gate or a steep slope.
- Moving into a new estate? Confirm your handover or settlement date before you lock in the move.
- List appliances, anything over 90 kg and any piano so they can be priced and assessed.
- Book junk removal for what you're not keeping, rather than paying to move it.
- For an office or warehouse, arrange building access, loading areas and permits at both sites.
